The BonJour! project enhanced media literacy and digital skills among older adults through a journalism-centred approach. Peter Mazohl led the Flipped Learning 3.0 training, developed the concepts for multimedia and interactive learning content, and established a low-threshold WordPress-based learning platform for senior learners. DigiComPass (AE)

The DigiComPass project developed a European course and recognition model for digital competencies in adult education, based on the DigComp 2.1 framework and a Flipped Learning 3.0 approach. Peter Mazohl served as specialist for Flipped Learning 3.0, developed the training course concept, trained partner organisations in multimedia learning content, and oversaw the course implementation. Connect eHealth (HE)

The CONNECT project developed a structured eHealth education programme for students across Europe, combining formal and non-formal methodologies to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-sectoral digital competencies in healthcare. Key outcomes included a Moodle-based e-learning course with multimedia and interactive content, and an eHealth Community of Practice platform supporting transnational collaboration between academia, industry, and healthcare. The Erasmus+ project Technology Enhanced Science Teaching (TEST) developed multimedia and interactive STEM learning tools based on the innovative ACAT method. The project originated from Peter Mazohl’s ICERI 2017 research on gender-sensitive STEM education, and he also prepared the Erasmus+ application and led major parts of the project implementation and pedagogical development. The Erasmus+ project Digital Photography for Digital Competences and European Cultural Heritage used digital photography as a motivating approach to develop digital skills in adult education. Peter Mazohl prepared the project application, while the University of Stockholm coordinated the project. The project Blended Learning Quality-Concepts Optimized for Adult Education developed innovative quality standards for blended learning in adult education. Peter Mazohl prepared the project proposal for the University of Rome and led the concept development of the final publication. CreaTech (AE)

CreaTech was a European educational partnership implemented between 2009 and 2011, bringing together organisations from Italy, Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, and Hungary. The project focused on creativity, innovation, intercultural dialogue, and the integration of new technologies into educational practice.

A major contribution of the project was the development of a creative and innovative methodology for technology-supported teaching and learning by Peter Mazohl. His approach combined pedagogical innovation with digital technologies in order to improve participation, communication, and learning outcomes in diverse educational environments.

The concepts and methodologies developed during the project were successfully implemented and tested in adult education as well as in school education, contributing to the early foundations of Technology Enhanced Teaching & Training approaches in Europe. Read More …
