DigiComPass Project Meeting Trani

DigiComPass LogoThe 4th DigiComPass Meeting took place in Trani (Italy) from April 9th to 10th, 2024. The meeting agenda spans across two days. The Trani meeting focuses on administrative updates, project dissemination, status reports, and specific discussions on upcoming initiatives. The first day started with an initial welcome and administrative session, followed by a status report on current projects. This was completed by a session on dissemination strategies, and a detailed report on the upcoming conference in Cyprus, “DigiComPass2024“. The day concludes with a discussion about an upcoming hybrid meeting with Errol, setting the stage for further collaboration.

Alexandros Yeratziotis from the University of Cyprus led the two-days meeting.

On the second day, the meeting continued with a second administrative session, opening discussions on Work Package 05 (WP 05), which likely involves project-specific supplementary documents (trainer’s guide and evaluation guide). This is followed by detailed discussions on the implementation of a training course, suggesting a focus on educational or developmental aspects of the project. The agenda indicates a comprehensive review and planning session, emphasizing project management and development activities.

Some facts on the DigiComPass Meeting in Trani

The project aims to enhance the quality of adult education through the development of a modern accreditation model for digital competences, based on the DigComp 2.1 Framework. It will improve teaching methods and staff competencies focusing on Flipped Learning 3.0. It addresses digital transformation by enabling training organizations to effectively integrate digital technologies for education, focusing on teaching, learning, and assessment. Key to this transformation is the adoption of the Flipped Learning 3.0 Framework. This framework supports the development of digital pedagogy and the innovative use of digital tools and content in education.
