The Vienna University of Technology The Vienna University of Technology (Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Wien) is one of the major universities in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Founded in 1815 as the “Imperial-Royal Polytechnic Institute”, it currently has about 26,200 students, eight faculties and about 4,000 staff members.

Peter Mazohl was working here as a lecturer between 2014 and 2023.
