Project Objective:
The project’s main aim was to develop a comprehensive quality system for Blended Learning in adult education.
Despite the method’s use since 1999, no established quality management framework previously addressed both the teaching environment and the learning setting.
Contribution:
Peter Mazohl represented the EBI/EIE and presented the developed material at the Blended Learning Conference 2015 at the University of Málaga. He actively contributed to creating, testing, and disseminating quality concepts and tools throughout the project.
Blended Learning (bLearning)Quality-Concepts Optimized for Adult Education:
- Development of precise methods to ensure high-quality planning, execution, and evaluation of Blended Learning (bLearning) courses, with a focus on both teachers’ performance and learners’ needs.
- Definition and testing of measurable indicators for quality levels in bLearning.
- Establishment of minimum quality standards and evaluation tools.
- Development of a realistic and research-based framework for bLearning, including practical recommendations for implementation.
- Full coverage of quality aspects: from organisational setup and course design to eLearning platforms, tutorial support, communication, learner feedback, and course validation.
