Peter Mazohl graduated in science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) from the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology.
Peter Mazohl completed professional training to become an ICT teacher for both lower and upper secondary education (Secondary Level I and II). He also received formal education in project management, certified by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he attended advanced training courses in the field of graphics and design at the University College of Teacher Education. He regularly participated in a wide range of ICT-related professional development courses offered by the University College of Teacher Education in Eisenstadt.
Function
He has worked as a teacher in high schools and vocational high schools, and taught at miscellaneous colleges and adult education institutions.
For six years, he was the technical head of new.media consulting company, a project management company established in the field of media (web, multimedia and video).
Since 2015, he has been a lecturer at the University of Technology (in Vienna, Austria). Since 2017, he has been a permanent member of the Institute of Analyses and Scientific Computing.
Additionally, he has a basic education as a photographer and is an artist as well.
Currently, Peter Mazohl is the President of the “European Initiative for Education” and the “European Foundation for Quality in Blended Learning”, both are non-profit educational organisations.
In 2024, he was elected as the vice president of the “DigiComPass” association, a non-profit organisation promoting the Digital Competence Passport, developed in an Erasmus+ Project of the University of Cyprus.
