Peter Mazohl

Mag. Peter Mazohl holds master’s degrees in science (Physics, Mathematics) and lives in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. He has been teaching at high schools and vocational high schools for more than 40 years, as well as in miscellaneous vocational institutions (VET and C-VET). 2014 he started as a lecturer at the University of Technology Vienna (Institute of Analyses and Scientific Computing).

In additional, Peter Mazohl holds degrees in Informatics and is involved in research work about modern and technology enhanced teaching and training methods. He published several books and numerous scientific papers.

He founded the European Initiative for Education (EBI/EIE) and currently the president of this international training and research association, and he is a co-founder of the European Foundation for Quality in Blended Learning (EFQBL) and also currently the president of the EFQBL.

Peter Mazohl’s research interests encompass a spectrum of educational methodologies, with a particular focus on innovation in teaching and training. He is an expert in Blended Learning, a hybrid teaching approach that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods, and Flipped Learning 3.0, which emphasizes an in-depth, student-centered framework. Additionally, Mazohl has considerable expertise in the development of multimedia-based and interactive training content, aimed at enhancing learner engagement and educational outcomes.
